Wallpaper Removal
There are countless types of wallcoverings available to choose from, each requiring one of the dozen adhesives available. Removing wallpaper requires not just identifying the wallcovering but also the adhesive used. This determines the best approach to preserve intact walls from which to later add a coat of paint or better yet, update your wallcovering. It needs to be said, if the proper primer/sealer wasn’t used before the wallcovering was installed this could result in a labor-intensive removal and possible wall resurfacing.
Wallpaper Installation
This is an art installation. After you decide what pattern, graphic, or mural you would like to install, add to your existing decor, and what story you want to tell, we have to then prepare the surfaces for proper installation to ensure many years of enjoyment. Prepping the walls is essential and can be the bulk of the work.
Consultation
One of the reasons I chose this profession is that I missed my opportunity to go to school for interior design. However, helping people decide the best pattern and material for a given wall and room is the next best thing. We will take measurements and calculate how much paper to order, which can be a bit confusing for those unfamiliar with the industry. This is where we also discuss if lining paper is right for your given situation to ensure the best outcomes.
